Recuperators
A recuperator is a special-purpose ventilation unit that removes air from the premises mechanically; the air then passes through the heat exchanger in the recuperator where it is heated. In this manner, air that is taken from outside warms up as it travels through the heat exchanger back into the premises, thus returning up to 90% of the heat that was taken from the premises.
This kind of ventilation system makes it possible to avoid heat waste and reduce heating expenses. As it happens, today's housing architecture has a lot of rooms, hallways, corners and all sorts of other wonderful places for moisture and mould to appear.
Cleaning up, using the shower and even breathing can result in unwanted moisture. The first sign of bad ventilation is condensation on the windows. Black dots can appear in the corners of the room as well as on the ceiling. Premises must be ventilated, since proper, balanced ventilation removes contaminants, provides more of the energy that is necessary during the daytime, and improves your mood and the quality of your sleep, since you are then getting enough oxygen.
